Perfect for kids and adults! this water park is massive, it has some exciting rides as well as calmer pools and a good variety for the younger and older kids. Definitely worth a visit.

Paphos is the capital of western Cyprus and a popular tourist centre. It dates back to 1400BC, when it was a Roman settlement and it still has remnants from that era. According to Greek mythology Paphos is also the birthplace of Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and love, so it's perfect for a romantic break.

When to go
A flight to Paphos takes less than four hours. Lots of scheduled and charter airlines service the route, so it's important to shop around to get a cheap Paphos flight. Paphos is blessed with a typical Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters so anytime is a good time to visit. However, during summer flights to Paphos can be expensive so it pays to compare prices and book well in advance.

Where to stay
Head for Kato Paphos, which is centred around a harbour and has a wide selection of hotels, restaurants and tavernas. It's the easiest place to get a hotel in Pahos.

What to do
As well as the famous mosaics, Paphos' other ancient sites include the Tomb of the Kings, dating back to the third century BC and the fourth century Basilica of St Paul. For beach lovers Coral Bay is an exquisite beach just northwest of the town.
