Finding cheap flights to Almeria, requires just one search on dealchecker. When you enter your details into the search box we will search dozens of suppliers and you will be given a list of deals to choose from. Then all you need to do is select one and book your Almeria flights directly with your chosen provider.
Almeria City is the capital of the Spanish province of the same name, which is a largely unspoilt region found on the Southern coast of Spain. It is a sun seekers dream, boasting 200 miles of coastline and possibly the most hours of sunshine and least amount of rainfall in the whole of the Mediterranean! There are large and small resorts to choose from - Roquetas de Mar, Adra and Mojacar are a few of the better known ones.
When to go
In the summer months Almeria gets pretty hot and pretty busy with average maximum temperatures of 30C. In spring and autumn things are a bit cooler but still very pleasant and one should find average temperatures around about 20C.
There is no shortage of cheap flights to Almeria, with prices around £150 in the peak season of June, July and August and as low as £50 throughout the rest of the year. You should find the resorts much less crowded in April, May, September and October.
What to do
There are of course huge stretches of beautiful long sandy beaches and many little coves that are popular with naturists. Most, if not all of the resorts have all of the water sports and parks that you would expect to find on a Mediterranean holiday.
If you are looking for wild and crazy nightlife that goes on until sun rise then Almeria is probably not for you. There is still, however, plenty to do at night, with fantastic sea food and tapas restaurants, and many pubs and bars in all of the resorts along Costa Almeria.
For those looking for a bit of culture, Almeria has a 10th century castle known as the Alcazaba, which dominates the city and a stunning cathedral built in the 16th century.
If you're feeling particularly adventurous and have a desire to explore further afield there are ferries from Almeria to Africa, although the crossing does take several hours.
With something on offer for everyone, guaranteed sunshine, plenty of resorts, hotels and cheap flights, Almeria is a holiday destination well worth heading for. Once you've booked your flight to Almeria, why not find a cheap hotel in Almeria.
